Bruce Ellman is a NYC based
theatrical sound designer whose career spans more than 30 years.
The first track in this collection, “Bad Dates,” was created for
the original 2003 Playwrights Horizons production of the Theresa
Rebeck play of the same name. “Not Waving,” the final track
of "Loopy" was created for the 2007
NYC Summer Play Festival production of Ellen Melaver’s “Not
Waving.”
In the mid to late 90’s Bruce's experiment with computer generated music for use in stage
plays produced the middle four tracks and they were used as incidental music in a
number of different productions presented throughout New York
City. These four tracks are part of Bruce's "Monterey Project."
